Adding 290 square feet to this already small (just 566 square feet) black A-frame in Brecht, Belgium, was all the local building ordinances allowed, but the architects at dmvA found that a single wing extended out to the side gave resident Rini van Beek all the storage and living space that she needs.

Two San Francisco art and travel addicts overhauled a loft—and customized a pair of shipping containers—to accommodate their collection and reflect their passions. The shipping containers were stacked, joined with steel tubes, and lashed to reinforced floor joints to make them earthquake-safe.

Canada 150th Anniversary Mark: Happy 150th Birthday to my homeland of Canada! The design of this mark still honors the Canadian maple leaf motif. I took this motif; deconstructed, simplified and created a 'bursting' maple leaf, similar to fireworks exploding. Overall the visual metaphor expresses: celebration, emotion, and feels dynamic, just as the country of Canada and it's people. Self initiated project.
