Heymat Dis Mat

Vera Kleppe and Åshild Kyte met during their studies at Bergen Academy of Art and Design and have been working together ever since. Under their alias Vera & Kyte, they’ve built a reputation for their playful design approach, which emphasizes new materials and methods. Their Dis Mat (2020) features deep hues inspired by natural scenes ranging from forest floors to tranquil seas to rock formations. This high-absorbency, long-lasting mat is manufactured from 50% post-consumer polyester and 50% recycled plastic bottles. Suitable for use indoors and out with a rubber backing that prevents slippage. Machine washable. Made in Belgium.
