TV HOUSE

The house is located near the city of Puerto Varas, in the south of Chile, a very humid and rainy region most of the year. In this context, the work is located in a vacant sector overlooking a ravine to which it was due. exercise relationship with housing.

From this, a series of volumes are projected to try to scale the house, a kind of rocks or vernacular settlements in this landscape with vacant characteristics. Reference is made in the skins of these volumes to this same architecture of the area, reinterpreting it in a compositional way. depending on the program.

Another of the proposed aspects was that the house should have a maximum occupancy in its daily program so as not to have residual spaces or that they were not directly occupied in an area of 300 m2, taking the routine of the owners, a layout and floor program was devised. in which it complies with that postulate.

The views and luminosity of its surroundings were privileged, going so far as to generate an almost complete glass west façade, something unthinkable for this climatic zone.

By default, I look for contrast and the search for warm tones, because outside during the year it is usually very cloudy and with little light.
