The project is a full gut interior renovation of an existing 2-story and basement Tudor-style home in the Queens neighborhood of Forest Hills Garden. There was limited work to the exterior as there are strict architectural guidelines set by the community.

Fortunately, the house was originally designed with many windows, but over the years, the previous owner's renovations made the house feel very tight and dark. The design intent was to open up the house to natural light and to have a logical sense of moving through each space. The renovation includes a new stair to the 2nd floor, new kitchen and living spaces, 3 new bedrooms, and 2 new full baths. The basement was renovated to include a separate spa area, w/d closet, and a family room with a DJ set. The attic was also renovated to include storage of the owner's collection of sneakers and sport memorabilia.
Included in the photos are some images of the interiors before the renovation to get a sense of what was done.
