From DKT HOUSE

Project of a modern dwelling house on half-timbered technology by DKT HOUSE company, design by Levingroup "Aleksey Levin Architectural group". Architects: Levin Aleksey, Avdeev Ivan

Architectural-planning solution of the residential building is made in a unified composition of internal premises and street spaces.
A plot of 15 hectares, not the smallest land plot for a country house, was chosen for construction. In the design task drawn up by the customer, it was determined to create a house in which all the main living spaces are located on one level. Bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms and guest rooms, as well as the main rooms of the house - kitchen-dining room and living room with access to the summer terrace.

With such a composition of rooms, the building area turned out to be quite significant, given that the tasks of placing a large garage with technical rooms and a terrace with an outdoor SPA, adjacent to the large bathroom of the master bedroom were added to it. And of course, somewhere to place the main terrace with access from the living room and kitchen-dining room.

The area of the land plot, free from building, turned out to be minimal. Therefore, the planning solution provides for an atrium, a small courtyard with covered side galleries and a barbecue area that separates the internal street space of the house from the neighboring plot. The use of large panoramic glazing in the living room allowed to unite two spaces: the internal space of the living room and the atrium space with a summer pool located in it, thus creating a unique atmosphere of this house.

The living spaces of the house are permeated with direct and warm reflected light. The large panoramic glazing of the living room faces north, thus giving the opportunity to see the brightly lit space of the courtyard, creating a cozy atmosphere in the room. The continuous glazing of the second floor gallery faces the south side of the property, allowing the double-light living room to be illuminated by direct sunlight, which casts a bright glare on the wooden ceiling and wall constructions.
