Mid-Century Modern Bungalow

A small planting island with concrete curbing contains fireball bromeliads, Burle Marx philodendrons, and clumping reclinata palms. Variegated sanchezia bush flanks the gate to the backyard, and lady palms soften the brick wall.

Preexisting clumping cabada palms were retained, underplanted with shade-loving mondo grass and native wart fern, and a winding path of crushed shell was added for maintenance access.
