Lake Sauna

The standalone Lake Sauna is positioned in a heavily treed forest with views of the water. The owner was interested in a private sauna that would act as a destination on the property. Positioned near the lake, the weathering steel structure blends into the forest while the glass wall provides unobstructed views to the water. While enjoying the sauna the user can take a short path to the water for a swim to cool down. The primary materials are weathering steel, cedar and glass.
