From Rachel Graham-Hilder

Three years ago my husband demolished (within 6 weeks) our 1930's home where we'd lived for 20 years. It was a comfortable house in the warmer months but very cold in the colder ones plus our electricity bills were huge!
The house plans were drawn up 12 years ago so to finally feel so warm and comfortable is amazing!

We recycled materials from the old house: floorboards made into barn doors by my husband, ceiling joists made into the bathroom and kitchen benchtops made by my father and the chimney bricks will be used to pave the courtyard. We recycled so much, only a few truckloads of unusable materials were taken away which saved a lot of money.

We are now living in a super bright, sun drenched and warm house! The difference in our power bills is fabulous! We feel so fortunate.
