House in Kitami

House in Kitami is a minimal residence located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Container Design. The three story building is characterized by using fireproof materials mixed with a soft wooden atmosphere within a semi-fire prevention area. The exterior is constructed of scraping mortar and galvalume steel. The flooring, staircase, and custom shelving are all constructed of Japanese cedar. The home consists of a a split-level layout to create a series of private nooks for the residents.
