Celebration of the unity of exterior and interior - stylish minimalist forms, natural materials and finishes of the greatest amount of tone and lots and lots of light - all this has become part of this luxurious private villa on the shores of the Gulf of Finland
Client turned to us for design when the architectural design of the house had already been agreed therefore, we had to create an interior, based on the previously created architecture in a minimalist modern style.
Our client dreamed of Los Angeles-style villa in his favourite city - Saint-Petersburg this is why most of the villa's ground floor area is occupied by a 130-square-meter kitchen-living room, and we keep this space airy and light, without overloading it with furniture and interior elements.
Minimalism was already set by the architecture of the house, so we used neutral colours and laconic forms in the interior design, but compensated for this simplicity with accent shades (red bed in the master bedroom, turquoise tones in the hall) and natural textures and textures (counters made of natural granite, stained oak veneer wood paneling, sandstone and slate textured porcelain stoneware walls). “We didn’t want to divert attention from the views of the Gulf of Finland that open from all the windows of the house so we emphasized them in every possible way.”
