The house occupies an area equivalent to two sites of 360 m². And on one of the sites we have the house and on the other the entire open patio and garden area. This made it possible for the house to face north, which is essential in Caxias do Sul, a city with a cold and humid climate.
The building takes place in 3 phases: access floor and garage, social and entertainment floors, intimate family floor at a third floor. The organization took place on half levels on the first two floors, creating spaces that serve as multipourpose rooms in the house. Spaces such as storage and a game room with a garden emerged from this game of horizontal planes. Intimate floor also has a double height ceiling in the living room.

The design idea was to separate the house into volumes. These volumes are arranged through a large upper nave that appears to be suspended and floating above the first floor, due to the impression left by the 8-meter balance between the lower and upper floors, meaning that the garage volume supports the building, which in turn, has a stone covering. In order to highlight these volumes, we used the color white throughout the building, so what is highlighted by the light are the shapes, displacements, balances, planes and openings.
