Just a stone’s throw away from Central Park and Columbus Circle, steps from Museum Mile and a quick walk from the heart of Times Square lives Conrad New York Midtown. The hotel offers discerning travelers a uniquely spacious and innately residential retreat. The hotel’s 54 floors encompass 562 luxury accommodations, premium suites, striking views, a 1,500 square foot fitness center and 6,000 square feet of flexible event space.

Interior design highlights include herringbone wood floors, hand-tufted wool rugs and Carrera marble bathrooms. A collection of premium suits include five apartment-style suites, six sky suites, one Atrium suite and one Penthouse.

The hotel’s location is central to some of New York City’s finest arts and culture attractions, but one of the property’s most exquisite features is its own private art collection. A seamless blend of luxury hospitality and art makes this destination a true haven for art enthusiasts. Curated by Visto Images, a boutique art consultancy based in Paris, the collection is inspired by the neighborhood’s world-class art, culture and museums.

Upon entering, guests are immediately greeted by a large, life-like sculpture depicting Leda and the Swan by hyperrealist contemporary artist Carole Feuerman. The iconic depiction of the Greek myth, Leda and the Swan was commissioned for the hotel and its reinterpreted to show Leda in a position of power over Zeus.

As you move through the hotel, pivotal art movements are represented and reinterpreted. Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, street photography, jazz improvisation, Broadway theater, the collections of the MOMA, the Guggenheim, and the Metropolitan all parade through the spaces in new guises, demonstrating how the city keeps reinventing itself. The collection features 37 artists and includes an original Henri Matisse lithograph, two original Andy Warhol silkscreens and two limited edition photographs.

By seamlessly weaving together contemporary art and interactive experiences, the hotel sets the stage for a multi-sensory journey that serves as the groundwork for a true luxurious hospitality stay.
