It is a perfect mix of farm-to-table and custom design right in your own home. When the sellers bought, it had been Oakland Concord Missionary Baptist Church and Community Center. The former owners, who grew up on the top floor, were pleased that a carpenter wanted to re-envision the space and start a family. Soon this West Oakland gospel church was transformed into a family home blessed by the original family who had been there for generations. Together the sellers repaired, redesigned, and reinvented the house into their dream home with many creative and one-of-a-kind details.

The big backyard is the perfect spot for a veggie garden, raising chickens and hosting parties. The property is surrounds by beautiful native and fruit trees, including, Red Oak, Cherry, Plum and Nectarine, Pluot, Passionfruit, Orange, Lemon, Mandarin, Lime, Mission Olive, Ironwood Tree, Live Oakland a row of Sugar Maples.
