This old-fashioned typical Floridian house needed some few basic elements to get a new life: air and light.
In an original layout, the living room was left without straight daylight since the sun never shines on that side of a building. The separate kitchen was dark and uncomfortable to use. In addition, a big part of a living room was on a different, lower level than the rest of a house.
By relocating the living room, bedroom and reconfigure kitchen we achieved the goal.
Natural light now illuminates the space from different angles throughout the day .
A new big sliding door connects the living space with the backyard.
Totally new kitchen, with lots of cabinets, built-in appliances and island is an ideal place for cooking and entertaining.
Some master bathroom changes, electrical updates, new flooring and finishes, distinctive light fixtures, and... voila.
