Facing the mouth of the Douro in the heart of Porto, this small luxury hotel in Portugal offers what “portuense” hospitality truly means. A passionate family project developed and designed by three sisters, the hotel allows for a connection to the past while firmly rooted in the present, offering a taste of tradition and a tranquil, modern oasis in the city. 

The 19th century townhouse has been meticulously restored with a minimalist aesthetic, pairing vintage and contemporary Portuguese designs that are stylish yet unpretentious.

The restoration brings a taste of modernity within the historic context of the city, combining vintage pieces with furniture exclusively designed for the project with a meticulous attention to detail. Bright pops of colors and rich textures create harmony and simplicity.

Each of the eight individual rooms are unique and simply decorated in dreamy whites. Four rooms look out toward the river and sea, while the rest overlook the gardens.

At the back of the house is a peaceful garden, offering a welcome retreat within the city.

Breakfast is served daily with traditional homemade flavors, using high quality, fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally.
