A custom built-in headboard anchors the homeowners’ bed.

“By opening up all those spaces and highlighting things with the light fixtures they chose, and the way the millwork is layered, you get this sense of the geometry of the house, the levels, the ways the lines intersect,” says Paul. “It’s like we’re inside the CAD drawing, or like in 'Tron,' how the lines go on forever.”

Pale blue tones and peekaboo elements built into the joinery meet reeded glass to imbue the kids' room with a calm atmosphere.

Murphy replaced a window with double doors and a transom to bring in more light and connection to the outdoors.

White storage units now line the wall.

The bespoke walnut storage and brass hardware in the principal bedroom was designed by Tang. The lamp is by Noguchi.

Brimer Workshop designed a custom trundle bed for this room, and it's paired with a headboard from The Family Love Tree. The butterfly wallpaper is by Bien Fait.

The guest room is part of the addition off the kitchen, and can act as an ADU when necessary.
